Maintain your physical independence for years to come: our test for greater safety in daily life

The ability to move safely and freely is fundamental to a healthy and fulfilling life. While good mobility often feels effortless in younger years, it becomes increasingly more important with age. Strong balance, flexibility, and quick reactions significantly contribute to your safety. They enable you to respond promptly to potential hazards and reduce the risk of falls and injuries.

At AYUN, we employ precise, scientifically validated measurement techniques—some of which are used by professional athlets—to thoroughly assess your physical fitness. With this data, we develop personalized strategies to help you maintain and enhance your physical independence.

Longevity Check-up: test your flexibility, balance and reaction time

For the Longevity Check-up, plan for approximately 5 hours in total. All our check-ups include a measurement of your flexibility, balance and reaction time —important abilities to reduce the risk of falls and injuries as you age. This part takes about 30 minutes.

How we measure your flexibility, balance, and reaction time

Balance

To accurately assess your balance, we use the Y-Balance Test, a trusted method used in professional sports. This scientifically validated procedure measures dynamic balance and detects even the slightest imbalances between your right and left sides. From these results, we calculate your personalized Balance Composite Score, which allows us to assess your individual fall risk and design targeted prevention strategies.

Reaction Time

Using an interactive reaction wall, we determine how quickly and accurately you can respond to visual stimuli. This test provides valuable insights into your cognitive processing speed, helping us determine how well you can react in everyday situations. Enhancing reaction time can significantly improve overall agility and, in unexpected situations, can even be life-saving.

Flexibility

With the help of a goniometer, we assess the mobility of your key joints. This analysis immediately identifies any limitations and areas with potential for improvement. Based on these results, we create customized exercise programs designed to preserve and enhance your flexibility—which is important for pain-free movement and your long-term physical independence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Longevity Check-ups

At what age do you recommend the Longevity Check-up?

In general, a Longevity Check-up is recommended for anyone over the age of 25. The earlier you know what your individual health risks are, the longer you can benefit from small adjustments. But it is never too late to take charge of your health and optimize it in a targeted way, i.e. even at an advanced age, there is still a lot of potential for optimization.

How long does a Longevity Check-up take?

A Longevity Check-up lasts about 4-5 hours depending on the package chosen. It starts with a 30-45 minute anamnesis interview with one of our doctors, followed by an ECG, blood draw, and body composition analysis. You'll then have a brief snack break before completing the 1.5 hour session with our sports scientist. Afterwards, wearables such as the HRV monitor and the CGM are attached and set up.

What do I need to bring for my Longevity Check-up?

You should arrive fasted (empty stomach, water allowed) and bring your sports clothes for the sports and endurance test. Showers and towels are available.‍

How long does it take to get the results of my check-up?

The time between your check-up and receiving your results depends on external laboratories and the evaluation time required by our team of doctors, nutritionists, and sports scientists. The typical turnaround for all Longevity Check-ups is 4–5 weeks.

Do I have to come to your clinic to discuss my results?

The discussion of the results usually takes place at our clinic. If you prefer, the conversation can also take place via video conference.

The same applies to the nutrition counseling, which can take place either on-site or via video conference.

What makes you different from other check-ups?

Our focus is not just on identifying diseases at an early stage, but rather on understanding individual predispositions and determining what each individual needs to stay healthy in the long term. We don't look at individual values, but combine all the results into a holistic picture. We collect scientifically validated parameters for Longevity and combine them into a personalized, preventative Longevity Report.

Who performs the Longevity Check-ups?

We are a medical institution, so all check-ups are performed by trained and medically educated personnel. We employ doctors, medical assistants and sports scientists in our clinic.

What is the difference between the Essential Longevity Check-up and the Complete Longevity Check-up?

Both check-ups are designed to support long-term health and prevention, but they differ in depth and detail. The Essential Longevity Check-up provides the fundamental diagnostics needed to understand your current health status and genetic risks. It is well-suited as an entry point or for regular follow-ups.

The Complete Longevity Check-up goes significantly further. It includes a comprehensive blood analysis covering 63 lab parameters, advanced genetic mapping through SNP analysis, and a physical assessment of flexibility, balance, and reaction times. You’ll also wear a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for 10 days, with personalised nutritional counselling based on your data. The check-up also includes in-depth nutrition and sports counselling to help translate your results into actionable lifestyle strategies. In essence, the Complete Check-up places a stronger focus on personalised coaching—especially around nutrition and physical performance.

What is the difference between the Complete and Extended Longevity Check-up?

The Extended Longevity Check-up includes everything in the Complete package and adds a deeper focus on biological aging, stress resilience, and gut health.

In addition to a broader blood analysis, it features a DNA aging clock (including Pace of Aging), HRV monitoring over one week, and a comprehensive gut microbiome analysis. These additional diagnostics are paired with targeted counselling for both your microbiome and aging profile, as well as a detailed stress analysis guided by medical expertise.

How are the findings evaluated?

Our team of doctors, nutritionists and sports scientists analyze the findings holistically, prioritize and make appropriate recommendations.

We compare the results with comparative values from your age and gender group. Our goal is for our customers to perform significantly better than the average, because the average person develops chronic diseases over the course of their life that significantly affect their quality of life.

Others

Everyone knows what is healthy: exercise, nutrition and sleep. What else do you offer?

That's right, healthy eating, regular exercise and enough sleep are the cornerstones of longevity. General recommendations are certainly suitable for the masses, but when it comes to looking at the individual, many individualized recommendations can be made depending on the individual disposition constellation. Our goal is to achieve the greatest possible health effect for the individual with the least possible effort. To do that, much more precise recommendations are useful and possible.

Can I bring my child with me?

Our services are only available to persons of legal age. However, you are welcome to bring a child with you as a companion. No childcare service is available.

Do you also offer payment by installments?

We're working on standardizing installment payment options in our checkout process. In the meantime, if you'd like to use an installment plan, feel free to give us a call, and we'll find a solution together.
