Am I eligible for reimbursement through my insurance?

Supplementary health insurance plans reimburse certain preventive services in whole or in part. Coverage depends on your individual policy. You can find an indicative overview of what different supplementary insurances may cover at https://www.ayun.ch/insurance. We always recommend checking directly with your insurance provider for exact coverage details.

If you have a valid supplementary insurance in place at the time of your check-up, you are generally eligible for reimbursement. With AYUN’s Cashback Guarantee, you can book with confidence: if your valid supplementary insurance does not reimburse as expected, AYUN covers the difference according to the guarantee conditions.

When will I receive my reimbursement document for insurance?

You will receive your insurance reimbursement document automatically once your service is complete, meaning after all diagnostics have been analyzed and you have received your Medical Report. This ensures that all information is correct and meets your insurer’s requirements.

When is the reimbursement paid out?

Your supplementary insurance pays the reimbursement after you submit the reimbursement document to them. If your insurance does not reimburse the eligible amount, AYUN covers the difference under the Cashback Guarantee.

I don’t have supplementary insurance. Will my regular insurance cover it?

Preventive services such as Longevity Check-ups are usually covered by supplementary insurance, not basic insurance. Without supplementary insurance, the Cashback Guarantee does not apply.

How much will I get reimbursed, and how often?

The reimbursed amount depends on your individual supplementary insurance plan. In most cases, our customers receive between CHF 300 and CHF 1’000, but in some cases reimbursement can be up to CHF 4’000.

Most supplementary insurance plans reimburse preventive check-ups once per year. Some plans reimburse less frequently, for example every three years. The exact frequency depends on your individual policy.

Are existing AYUN customers also eligible?

Yes. Existing AYUN customers are equally eligible for insurance reimbursement and the Cashback Guarantee, provided a valid supplementary insurance was in place at the time of the check-up.

How do I claim the Cashback Guarantee?

If your supplementary insurance rejects or partially reimburses your claim, simply send the official proof of denial or reimbursement decision from your insurance provider to hello@ayun.ch. Our team will review the documents and credit the eligible amount according to the Cashback Guarantee conditions.

When does the Cashback Guarantee not apply?

The Cashback Guarantee does not apply if:

  • the annual benefit limit of the supplementary insurance for preventive check-ups has already been reached
  • no valid supplementary insurance was in place at the time of the check-up
  • the reimbursement claim was not submitted correctly or within the required time frame
  • false or misleading information was provided to AYUN or the insurance provider
