When does the Cashback Guarantee not apply?

The Cashback Guarantee does not apply if:

  • the annual benefit limit of the supplementary insurance for preventive check-ups has already been reached
  • no valid supplementary insurance was in place at the time of the check-up
  • the reimbursement claim was not submitted correctly or within the required time frame
  • false or misleading information was provided to AYUN or the insurance provider

Am I eligible for reimbursement through my insurance?

Supplementary health insurance plans reimburse certain preventive services in whole or in part. Coverage depends on your individual policy. You can find an indicative overview of what different supplementary insurances may cover at https://www.ayun.ch/insurance. We always recommend checking directly with your insurance provider for exact coverage details.

If you have a valid supplementary insurance in place at the time of your check-up, you are generally eligible for reimbursement. With AYUN’s Cashback Guarantee, you can book with confidence: if your valid supplementary insurance does not reimburse as expected, AYUN covers the difference according to the guarantee conditions.

When is the refund paid out?

You will receive the reimbursement after submitting your reimbursement form to your supplementary insurance. You will receive the form after completing your Longevity Check-up and consultation at AYUN.

I don’t have supplementary insurance. Will my regular insurance cover it?

Preventative measures (such as a Longevity Check-up) are usually only covered by supplementary insurances. For more detailed information, please contact your insurance company.

How often do I get reimbursed?

In general, you receive a refund annually. The frequency of refunds depends on your supplementary insurance. Some only cover preventative check-ups every 3 years.

This depends on your specific supplementary insurance plan. In most cases our customers receive a refund from CHF 300 to 1’000.

Yes. Your insurance will refund you regardless of you already being an AYUN customer. To do this, submit your reimbursement form to your insurance company.
