Dr. med. Janis Brakowski MD

Dr. Brakowski is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience at the Psychiatric University Hospital in Zurich, most recently serving as Deputy Head of the Center for Acute Psychiatric Disorders.

With the founding of JB Private Mental Health, he established a nationally and internationally active, innovative clinical service that unites modern psychiatry, coaching, and mental longevity at the highest level. His academic journey has included Harvard Medical School, Charité Berlin, the University of Cambridge, the University of London, and Humboldt University of Berlin—complemented by studies in history, philosophy, and economics. At the University of Zurich, he has been engaged for many years as a Clinical Lecturer in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Dr. Brakowski combines therapeutic depth, entrepreneurial foresight, and academic brilliance in a rare way. His perspective opens new pathways for understanding mental health as an integral component of longevity—not only in the clinical realm but also in the broader societal context.
