Complete Longevity Check-up - Your Deeper Look Towards a Longer, Healthier Life

Understanding your health is the first step towards maintaining it long term. Our Complete Longevity Check-up provides you with a scientifically grounded overview of your current biological health status and shows you where you can take targeted action to improve your health, performance, and longevity. In this blog, we’ll guide you step by step through the check-up process.

To highlight the differences to our Essential Check-up, we marked this blog with little arrows → to indicate where the Complete Check-up goes further.

How, Where, and When

The entire check-up takes approximately 4 hours and takes place at our clinic at Uraniastrasse 18, 8001 Zurich. As some parts of the check-up, such as the body composition scan, need to be performed on an empty stomach, all check-ups take place in the morning. You can choose if you would like to start at 8:00, 9:15, or 10:30 a.m. As soon as you arrive, we'll start your longevity morning.

Step 1: Medical Consultation

Together with our physician, you’ll discuss your medical history, current lifestyle habits, sleep, nutrition, and mental stress. This conversation lays the foundation for your check-up. It helps us understand your current health status and identify areas that may require particular attention. In approximately 30 minutes, we develop an understanding of your individual risk factors and personal lifestyle context.

Step 2: Blood and Genetic Analysis

Next, we’ll take a blood sample for your comprehensive blood analysis, which includes 63 selected laboratory markers, as well as your genetic panel1 (single-nucleotide polymorphisms). Your blood results provide insights into the current state of your metabolism, inflammation, cardiovascular health, and hormonal balance. The genetic analysis, meanwhile, provides information about potential long-term risks, such as how your body processes fats, responds to certain toxins, or regulates inflammation, and which areas may require additional support. The result is an individual risk profile that goes well beyond a standard health check-up.

→ Compared to the essential blood analysis with 19 selected blood markers, the extended blood analysis includes an additional 44 markers, providing insights into vitamins (like B12 or folic acid), minerals (like magnesium and calcium), insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and hormonal balance.

Step 3: Cardiovascular Assessment

Your heart is at the centre of your health. Using a resting ECG, we assess the electrical activity and rhythm of your heart to help identify potential irregularities at an early stage. Blood pressure measurement provides insights into the pressure within your blood vessels and helps identify potential risk factors for cardiovascular disease early.

Step 4: Body Composition

Using state-of-the-art scanning technology2, we precisely measure your muscle mass, fat distribution, and bone density. We compare these values with reference data from large-scale studies. By comparing your results with those of people in your age group, we can see exactly where you currently stand. This allows us to then identify areas where targeted action can help you stay strong and mobile in the long term.

Short Break

Time to relax for a moment. You can have a drink and a snack, giving you a chance to catch your breath and reflect on the impressions you’ve gained so far.

Step 5: Performance Assessment

Now it’s time for the most active part of your check-up.

  1. The grip strength test3 measures the strength of the muscles in your forearms, which is one of the most reliable indicators of overall physical health.
  2. The VO₂max test4 takes place on a stationary bicycle. Over the course of 10-15 minutes, we gradually increase the intensity until you reach your exercise limit. The results show us how efficiently your body uses oxygen, providing an important measure of your cardiovascular fitness and longevity.

→ The physical assessment in the complete check-up goes a few steps further. With specialised equipment commonly used in elite sports, we assess your flexibility, balance,  reaction time, upper-body muscular performance, and lower-body explosive strength. Together, these measurements give us a holistic picture of how well your body moves, reacts, and performs.

Step 6: Continuous glucose monitor

→ Unlike in the essential check-up, we’ll also set up your continuous glucose monitor (CGM). You’ll wear it for 10 days, allowing us to track how your glucose levels change throughout the day and night in response to meals, exercise, sleep, and your everyday routine. Unlike a single blood glucose measurement, continuous monitoring helps reveal patterns in how your body responds over time and gives us a more dynamic picture of your metabolic health.

And that’s it! If you’d like, you can enjoy a refreshening rainforest shower or head straight home. The check-up itself is now complete. We’ll now send your blood samples to the laboratory, have your genetic panel analysed, and evaluate all your test results, including the 10-day CGM data, as soon as that’s complete. Once your lab results are available, we’ll get in touch to discuss all the findings with you. Laboratory analysis usually takes four to five weeks.

Step 7: Medical follow-up

All your data is evaluated by our interdisciplinary team. During a 1.5-hour consultation, you’ll review your report together with our physician. You’ll receive clear, prioritised recommendations covering nutrition, exercise, mental wellbeing, stress management, sleep, supplementation, and potential treatments. Everything is fully tailored to your individual needs and based on the data and findings from your check-up.

→ With the Complete Check-up, you’ll also receive additional one-to-one guidance to help turn your results into practical action:

  • In a dedicated nutrition consultation, your biomarkers, laboratory results, genetics, and CGM data are used to develop personalized nutritional recommendations.
  • You’ll also receive a one-to-one sports science consultation focused on optimising your physical performance, based on the results of your complete physical assessment.

Afterwards: Your Personalised Longevity Report

Following your consultation, you’ll receive your personal advanced Longevity Report5 - a detailed yet easy-to-understand analysis of your biological health status. It shows:

  1. Where your body currently stands.
  2. Which systems may need additional support.
  3. Which specific measures strengthen your health the most and improve your overall wellbeing.

All the measurements we’ve taken are included in your report, along with reference values for comparison. The personalised recommendations from your medical, nutrition, and sports science consultations are explained in detail too.

→ Your 10-day CGM data and the results of your complete physical assessment are also integrated into your overall picture.

Why the Complete Check-up Gives You a Deeper Understanding of Your Health

  1. You gain a more comprehensive picture of your health - objective, data-driven, and scientifically grounded.
  2. → You see not only what your health looks like at a single point in time, but also how your metabolism responds in everyday life through 10 days of continuous glucose data.
  3. → You get more detailed guidance across nutrition and physical performance, helping you turn your results into concrete strategies for a longer, healthier life.

→ This check-up is designed for people who want to go beyond essential health markers and understand their metabolism, physical function, and lifestyle needs in greater depth.

Brain fog, hormonal hair loss, night sweats, weight gain that does not respond to diet: these are not random. They are biological signals, each one pointing to a specific process that is shifting in your body. Understanding what is behind each symptom changes everything about what you can do about it.

How to Regulate Your Cycle Naturally: A Medical Approach to PCOS & Hormone Balance

You eat well, stay active, and still your body begins to change. Your cycle becomes irregular, your period may disappear, or your weight increases despite doing everything “right.” Many women experience this combination without a clear explanation for a long time. Often, the cause is not lifestyle alone, but a deeper hormonal imbalance, such as PCOS.
